The research and development costs of the arch bridge were about $110,000, of which $57,000 was provided by the Mid-America Transportation Center (MATC) and $23,000 by the Center for Infrastructure Research (CIR) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  The Aurora community, including the City of Aurora, the Nature Conservancy, the Prairie Plains Resource Institute, and the Nebraska Vocational Agriculture Foundation, contributed $30,000.  Kansas Structural Composites, Inc. (KSCI) and Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District also provided matching funds and in-kind services for the project.
